Welcome to the world of healthy probiotics! Fermentation is an age-old method of preserving foods before canning. Extremely healthy with B vitamins and plenty of vitamin C and natural probiotics. The two hour class will concentrate on how to make kraut and mild vegetable kimchi but we’ll discuss kombucha, kefir, homemade vinegar, and fermented starter breads. Even homemade ginger soda!! A limited number of starters or ‘mothers’ for different foods will be available.
Be sure to sign-up no later than 12:00 pm one day prior to the workshop by calling Troutlily Deli*Market (828) 628-0402. Workshop brochures are available at Troutlily.
